Launched in January 2026, the Advancing Faculty Excellence Podcast features episodes focused on common faculty issues. Season 1, takes a deeper look at the RISE Committee, a faculty group focused on addressing workplace climate issues.

I project manage this committee, and took it upon myself to start this podcast pilot. Along with my co-host Dr. Mike Liemohn, we interviewed 6 current and former RISE committee members on topics ranging from interrupting a bad actor to being a new leader.

I developed a logo for this program, along with producing and editing each audio episode.

Below are versions of the podcast logo before we reached the final. There was a name change as well. We started this project as the “RISE Together” podcast and then changed directions even after some episodes were recorded. I am very pleased to see where we landed on the name!
